The deal, stated plainly

These terms are between you and the person who builds and runs Vetta (“Vetta”, “we”) — one individual in Italy, not a company, and not connected to any other product or business. They govern your use of this site. Using Vetta means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

Vetta is free today. There are no subscriptions, no adverts, and nothing to buy — so there is nothing in here about payment, refunds or billing, because none of it applies yet. If that changes, these terms change first.

Vetta analyses League of Legends matches and gives you coaching: a verdict on what happened, the evidence behind it, and drills to work on. It reads public game data published through Riot’s official API.

Vetta is a companion for reviewing games you have already played. It does not attach to, modify, automate or interact with the game client in any way.

Vetta gives you an honest read on your games. It does not promise that you will climb, win more, or reach any rank. Coaching is an argument about what happened, not a guarantee about what will.

Our findings are computed from the data Riot exposes, which is incomplete. Where the data does not support a claim, we say nothing rather than guess — but honest analysis can still be wrong, and you should treat it as one informed opinion rather than the truth.

The service is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Automated querying — scraping, crawling, bulk-downloading — is not allowed without our written permission. Search engines indexing public pages are welcome. Do not build tools to extract Vetta’s data wholesale.

Do not use the service to harass anyone. Do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent it, or to reach parts of it you have not been given.

Do not use Vetta to cheat, or in any way that would breach Riot’s own terms of service.

Vetta isn’t endorsed by Riot Games and doesn’t reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

All game data, champion names, and game assets belong to Riot. We use them under Riot’s API terms, and our access to them depends on Riot’s continued permission. If that access changes, parts of Vetta may change or stop working.

Vetta is built to comply with Riot’s terms and developer policies. If any part of it is found to conflict with those terms, or Riot asks us to change it, we may alter or withdraw that part at any time and without notice. We would rather remove a feature than jeopardise the data access the whole product depends on.

The analysis, the writing, the design and the software behind Vetta are ours. You may read, share and quote what Vetta produces about your own games — that is what it is for. You may not copy the service itself or pass our output off as your own product.

Vetta is under active development. Features will change, and some will be withdrawn.

We may update these terms. When a change materially affects you, we will make that clear rather than silently reissue the page. Continuing to use Vetta after a change means you accept the updated terms.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Vetta.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law.

These terms are governed by the law of Italy, and its courts have jurisdiction — without depriving you of any protection given by mandatory rules of the country where you live.
